Manifesto
| The Traveler’s mission is to employ experiential photography and storytelling to inspire culturally aware readers to travel. They provide thorough, reader-friendly, and practical information that enables people to travel well. The magazine is backed by the authority of the flagship National Geographic Society magazine, which enjoys over 113 years of experience. We assisted the Traveler magazine in the research and design of maps, executed magazine layout, designed iconography, and produced informative diagrams.

Sprint is a local exchange carrier within 18 states and operates the largest 100-percent digital, nationwide PCS wireless network. With approximately 60,000 employees worldwide and over $26 billion in annual revenues in 2003, Sprint is widely recognized for developing, engineering and deploying state-of-the-art network technologies. We helped Sprint by designing several maps that featured the first nationwide all-digital, fiber-optic network, their award-winning Tier 1 Internet backbone, and their interglobal network.

The California Department of Transportation is one of the highest performing transportation agencies in the U.S. They are committed to keeping California moving by building and expanding their talented and diverse team, and to strengthen ties with engineers, builders, designers, politicians, and citizens. Our collaboration with Caltrans involved the creation of a at-a-glance map featuring the exits of the Greater Los Angeles freeway system. The detail below illustrates how the subway-style design is used to clarify and make it easy for drivers to negotiate the massive network.
